http://womeninhorrormonth.com/wih-manifesto/

So, here goes.
I know I'm not a lady and most of you that don't know me will think that by writing this I have some ulterior motive in mind, sum pervy motive.
But, that is not the case, women have NOT been given their proper due in horror films.
Hannah Neurotica hit the nail on the head with that one, and I agree with her full on and whole heartedly.
I always knew that there were women that liked horror movies, but, they were always few and far between and I could never find a girl that had actually heard of "Cannibal Holocaust", let alone knew anything about horror movies outside of "Saw', haha.
But, I knew girls that were true fans existed, I mean, how could they not?
But, the problem is, like Hannah Neurotica said, the genre so OVER saturated with men, not just fans, but within the genre itself, that the women fall through the cracks, that is NOT fair.
Women desreve their fair share, especially in the horror film genre.
So, this post is dedicated to them;
The women in the horror genre.
I have always wondred about women in horror, I had never heard anything about them, well, aside from which "hot chick" was naked in which slaher movie, and that always urked me, in a way that made feel completley horrible.
But, I see Hannah Neurotica has already getting people aware of this, I just thought I'd do my part and help her out, a little, baby bit.
I hope to post more about this soon, this my first post on this, hopefully my posts on this subject will get better and more well written as I continue to educate myself on this topic.

Tegan and Sara "It Was Midnight"= AWESOMENESS

Tegan and Sara, well, what haven't I already said about them?
Hmmm, but, I do know that I haven't talked about "It Was Midnight", yet.
So, YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
Yep, that's all that can be said about it, the song is indescribable and the feeling I get from hearing is even more indescribable
The song, is like if sum1 took all my favorite things, not just my favorite T&S things, but, EVERYTHING that I LOVE and rolled 'em up into sushi roll of awesomeness and then I ate it and I felt every awesome and happy emotion to have ever existed.
I know, you're thinking "He's over exagerating.".
BUT! I'M NOT! YOU DON'T KNOW, unless you've heard it.
This song will make you soooooo happy, if T&S wasnt ur all time favorite band, they will be after hearing "It Was Midnight"!.
Just, listen to it! TRUST ME!
I don't know what else can be said, AGH!
I love this song!!!!!!
