When I listen to Broken Social Scene

When I listen to broken Social Scene, I am filled with all kinds of happy emotions.
Their music takes me on a journey that feels like what Alice must have felt like upon her initial journey into wonderland.
Scared, confused, excited, sad, but, most of all.....happy.
Wondering around a strange and exotic land, meeting strange and exotic people, seeing strange and exotic animals, I mean, a dissapearing and reappearing cat, WOW!
That is how i feel, listening to Broken Social Scene.
Many other artists can compare emotionally to BSS, well, for me at least.
Imogen Heap/Frou Frou, Tegan And Sara and Paramore to name a few.
But, when I listen to BSS, compared to the other artists, i go on a journey.
A journey through my own personal wonderland, a land where instead of water its Mello Yello.
Peanut Butter and jelly sandwiches are the prefered food of choice and they are the most elegant food in existance and they are available to everyone.
A land where the clouds are marshmellows, but, not just the white kinds, the kinds where their all different flavors.
Where the grass truly is greener, not just on the other side, but, on all sides.
Animals live in peace with humans and they are not killed, not for any reason.
If one chooses to eat an animal, the animal gladly lays down for them and the person eats that animal, but, respects it at the same time and honors its passing.
A land, where it never gets below 60 degrees farenheit and its never too cold for popsicles.
A land where, everyone can be happy together.
When someone sees someone else walking down the street, they smile and wave hello and the common courtesy is returned in the same kindness.

Yes, that is how Broken Social Scene's music makes me feel.
It is an awesome to place to live, will u join me?

Slayer-"World Painted Blood"

The best Slayer CD, well for me anyways, has to be "World Painted Blood".
I remember reading somewhere, that when they went into the studio to record this masterpiece, they had no idea what they wanted the CD to sound like or even where to start, musically, with the process.
So, therefore, they started from scratch, basically a free flowing death metal/thrash metal nothingness.
You can tell just from listening to it, from the first track "World Painted Blood" to my fave song on this CD "Hate Worldwide" to the very last track "Not of this God", that they basically "free styled" every song, not the words of course, but, the music.
And in my oppinion, it payed off completley, the music is the best Slayer has made so far.
"World painted Blood" is may fave Slayer CD, this the first CD that I actually listened to all the way through in a long time, usually I just go through a CD and listen to certain songs, but, not with this CD, I heard the first track and I immediatley knew that I had just heard something spectacular.
I couldnt just skip around and only listen to certain songs, I had to listen to it all the way through.
And I'm happy I did, because, it turned out to be the most epic death/thrash metal CD I'd heard in yrs!
If you have not heard this CD, I highly reccomend it.
If you are a fan of heavy metal/death metal/thrash metal, I highly suggest this CD.
I am in complete love with this CD and OH SHIT, "Psyschopathy Red" just started up on my iTunes, YEEEEESSSSS!!!!!!!!
